A salient point. While the US continues to focus on typically dark skinned Disney villains and perpetuates xenophobia amongst its citizenry there exists a powerful terrorist network that continues to operate across the country.
These people are scary and their claim to be pro-life is somewhat problematic when they advocate the use of extreme violence with the intention to not only maim but also kill.
I’m intrigued by Rachel Maddow. I was able to watch a few of her shows while in the US earlier this year. She is without a doubt the heir to Olbermann but the slightly smug air she carries at times conjures Michael Moore. Preaching to the choir rather than engaging and changing with the opposition. But then again, given the American mindset, is there any point with engaging these people?
